We hope your 2025 is off to a great start and that you're staying warm this winter!
We want to take a moment to clarify the status of our funding for the 2025 season.
In 2022, we received a three-year funding agreement from the Ministry of Health, with the 2024 coupon season being the final year of that commitment. We have submitted a new funding proposal for 2025 and beyond, requesting support through the ministry’s year-end funding—as has always been the case for our program. Government year-end funding decisions will be made by March 31, and we expect to learn in early April what resources will be available for the 2025 season. This amount may be more or less than what we've had over the past three years.
In the meantime, we are continuing to plan for the upcoming season as usual, with applications opening soon. More details on that to come.

How You Can Help
One of the most impactful ways to support our program is by participating in our gratitude campaign. Ensuring the Ministry hears firsthand how important this program is to your communities strengthens our case for continued funding. We encourage you, your vendors, program participants, and board members to send in letters or cards of thanks, sharing personal stories about the impact of the FMNCP in your community.
